The new facility, by renowned architects 3XN, will be a spectacular showcase for our industry and includes everything customers are looking for – more public space, more dining options, boardwalks and a community feel. It also delivers what our fishers and fishmongers need in 21st century technology with improved facilities that keep the seafood fresh and make it easy to trade.

The new Sydney Fish Market design is a world class piece of architecture with a distinctive wave-shaped and scale-patterned roof paying homage to the fishing industry. Another feature of the new design is a more visibly accessible auction area giving the visiting public a deeper understanding of the seafood supply chain.

This project is being delivered as a joint venture with Equilibrium.
